Say Aloha to the summer: Newport Beach Luau
When was the last time you went to a luau? On August 31, Newport Dunes is having a festive end of summer luau. This is the first year for this event and will include authentic island entertainment such as hula dancers, Kane dancers, fire-throwing artists, and traditional Hawaiian live music including drums and ukuleles. The tasty meal will consist of Kalua pulled pork, grilled Teriyaki chicken, and yummy pineapple. There will be a tiki bar serving up tropical libations too. So sport your best Hawaiian shirt, shorts and flip flops and have a fun night by the water.
