Local fun: Pumpkin hunting
They’re orange, They’re cute. And they jump-start us into the upcoming holiday season. Pumpkins are a Halloween holiday tradition. No matter if you like them small and smooth, or bumpy or big, there’s are plenty of nearby places to find your perfect pumpkin. Tanaka Farms Pumpkin Patch is a wonderful and scenic place to find pumpkins with the grandkids. VONS at Mesa Verde (just steps from your residence at Azulon) also has a nice selection of pumpkins and Fall flower arrangements. Trader Joe’s on 17th Street also is fully stocked with gourds, pumpkins, Fall sweets, and plenty of yummy ingredients for Fall comfort foods.
